About This Course

The EFAW curriculum is highly practical and focuses on essential, life-saving protocols. Standard topics include: 

  • Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
  • Assessing and managing an emergency scene
  • Administering CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and using an AED (Defibrillator)
  • Treating an unconscious casualty
  • Choking emergencies
  • Managing severe and minor bleeding
  • Dealing with shock and seizures
  • First-aid kit hygiene and usage
